Needing a few lovies!

Well the year is starting off slow! We need a few more 3 year olds to fill the class, so spread the word! There are lots of new things to do this year but we need to get the class full first!

Making Crayons!!!

We had a great start back after our break. Everyone jumped right back into the swing of things.
Awesome!

When you start back on a Friday (which was really our first day back) you kind of have a "play" day.
So what do you do on a play day? Well, we made crayons!
They loved picking out there own colors...
They were kind of funny.
They know not to peal the paper off and not to break them into pieces.... and that is exactly what we did!!! Oh the looks I got! oh well...

It's time for a Birthday!!!

Thank you so much for sweet Abigail!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We had a lot of fun picking our pumpkins... hope you had just as much fun carving yours!

BROWN Day and Teddy Bear (Stuffed Animal) Day

We had a great BROWN and bear day today.

We read "Be Brown" and learned that we all can't do everything but we all CAN be something. We are all different and good at different things.
We had a lot of bears and a few different animals too.
We had a green dog and an orange monkey!
We had all different colors of brown in our bears.
We had BIG ones and small ones.
...and even a white one...but no black ones.

We also had a special surprise visit from Lucy.

Lucy is a baby goat that one of our friends from another class brought to show us.
Lucy has BROWN on her too!

Everyone loved Lucy. They were gentile with her. They only pet her if they wanted too and they all told her bye. Lucy told them bye as well. They thought she was just the cutest thing and so did I.

I would have stayed out there all day and held little Lucy!

Next week is our "Favorite Foods" week. Please let me know if your child doesn't eat what is on the calendar. (It will only be : Oreos, Pizza bites and Ice Cream - it will be one of these : oreo-chocolate-vanilla-strawberry)

Lots of Smiles

I always give a "look" in the class, that obviously is given back, but I love it...
It is my favorite look. I can't help but laugh and smile, every time.

Everyone came in the other morning and found their frog with their name on it and put it on our "pond", hung their bag up and went to play.

Others tried to dart away from the video but we found them anyway! (that one is still loading so I will add it here when its done!)

Everyone is adjusted to what we do and what we expect them to be going. We still have our moments but everything is still new and overall, going great!

Thank you all, moms and dads, for such wonderful little ones!
