It's time for a Birthday!!!

Dear God,

Thank you so much for sweet Abigail!

We hope she has a ton of fun on her birthday and has many, many more!!! Amen.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We had a lot of fun picking our pumpkins... hope you had just as much fun carving yours!

BROWN Day and Teddy Bear (Stuffed Animal) Day

We had a great BROWN and bear day today.

We read "Be Brown" and learned that we all can't do everything but we all CAN be something. We are all different and good at different things.
We had a lot of bears and a few different animals too.
We had a green dog and an orange monkey!
We had all different colors of brown in our bears.
We had BIG ones and small ones.
...and even a white one...but no black ones.

We also had a special surprise visit from Lucy.

Lucy is a baby goat that one of our friends from another class brought to show us.
Lucy has BROWN on her too!

Everyone loved Lucy. They were gentile with her. They only pet her if they wanted too and they all told her bye. Lucy told them bye as well. They thought she was just the cutest thing and so did I.

I would have stayed out there all day and held little Lucy!

Next week is our "Favorite Foods" week. Please let me know if your child doesn't eat what is on the calendar. (It will only be : Oreos, Pizza bites and Ice Cream - it will be one of these : oreo-chocolate-vanilla-strawberry)

Lots of Smiles

I always give a "look" in the class, that obviously is given back, but I love it...
It is my favorite look. I can't help but laugh and smile, every time.

Everyone came in the other morning and found their frog with their name on it and put it on our "pond", hung their bag up and went to play.

Others tried to dart away from the video but we found them anyway! (that one is still loading so I will add it here when its done!)

Everyone is adjusted to what we do and what we expect them to be going. We still have our moments but everything is still new and overall, going great!

Thank you all, moms and dads, for such wonderful little ones!

Our First Few Days

We are off to a great start!

Everyone is making new friends and getting into the routine!

The things that we LOVE so far are, snack time, and going outside on the playground.



Everyone eats their snack! We have a good bunch of eaters this year!

After we have our snack it is time for our book center. We need to read quietly and treat the books nice. This helps keep our books for years to come. (Some of our book are from when Mrs. Tina was little! but she keeps those to read to us!) Some of them are from her kids and we get to look at those, if we are nice to them.



Then when everything is cleaned up, we get to go outside!!!
This is the best part for some.






We have done a few projects but sadly I don't have pictures! I hope to get better at that!!!
Also we had the BEST EVER, "All About Me" books come in. I will get pics of those up soon.

I hope everyone is just as excited as I am about this year. I have so many new ideas, I just hope I get to them all!!!
