Done with August

Well August flew by.
We have had so much fun getting to know our new friends.
We have added another one and he has fit right in too!

We are getting adjusted to the routine. It is taking some time but they seem to pick it up.
We are doing our Circle time and all of our activities. We just have smaller groups this year, which is not at all a bad thing. This will give us a little more one on one time and we won't have to rush through anything.

We are playing well with others, following directions, using the restrooms and getting water on our own. We had computers today for the first time and a couple were unsure about it at first...I think they thought we were going to run away, but we stayed right there. Wed. will be music....we will see how that goes.

No matter how rough the start is, it ALWAYS gets better parents! I know that the sound of an unhappy child crushes your heart but Trust me, it goes away... a lot sooner than you think.

If we ever have a problem that we can not handle or that becomes a problem for the others, we will let you know. So when your child comes home and says that he was in time out...dont fret! We work things out in school and when they get home all "things" are over and it is time for your one on one time. I will let you know if things need your attention outside of school.

So, now, I know you all want pictures...here we go!

First Day of School

We had an awesome first day of school!!!
There were no tears, only laughter and a lot of chatter!
We had chapel today and everyone walked down the hall just like they were asked to do. They sat in chapel, hands in their lap and feet still and even said the prayer with "prayer Hands" and sang the songs!
We made our hand print for you so that years from now you will know exactly how small (or BIG) they were on their first day of school.
We painted their Apple Bags, had circle time, we went over our calendar and numbers, prayers and blessings, went out on the playground, we had a special snack that our new friend Jan Anderson brought for us,(Thank You Jan Anderson!) we all got into the treasure box and one of us overcame a hurdle and had the biggest, best day ever!
WOW!
So you can see we had an AWESOME day!

I am SO very proud of all of them.
I wish I had pictures to show you how big they were today but We will add some as the days go by!

We have such awesome little people, loving and sweet.
:)
