What a day we had today!
It started out with a parade around the school and visiting the offices. The kids had a great time.

We finished up a few details on our pumpkin treat holders - which we would love to send a shout out for!!! We called the "happy" kids meals place to see if we could have 12 french fry boxes. Mrs. Renee told them that we were going to do a project out of them. They said they could not give them to us, so she offered to buy them...Then they told her they would not sell them to her either! (Have you ever read the Little Critters book I was so mad!...well I was so mad) We basicly could not even go in there and order fries. So... we called Jack's and guess what, we told them what we were going to do with them (again) and they asked if we HAD to cover up the logo... What a difference! So we were going to paint the inside of our boxes black but we wanted to have the Jack's logo showing. Thank You Jack's very much for your donation to our Pre-school class!

Now, getting back on track...
I took several pictures of our party. I recieved everyones ok to post the pictures - I think! If you do not see your childs picture here, it is because I was unsure. (Trust me, I have plenty of pictures of everyone. Just give me the go ahead and I will get them on there)

So here are a few of them:

We all had a good time. The kids weren't that crazy and so the teachers stayed a little more sane! We enjoyed seeing everyones costumes. Some children were going to be different "critters" or "princesses" so send in those pictures next week or when ever you get them printed.

Thank you to all of the mom's and dad's who came out to join us today. I hope you enjoyed it.
I know I sometimes go to my childs parties and I am worried more about their manners than I am about just enjoying the momment. So I hope everyone enjoyed the momment. In the end that is what you need to walk away with.
That's what will stick in their little heads anyway and the manners come from living it everyday anyway. (Just my theory...) :)

Well I am off to the mountains, I will be back on Wed.
(poor Mrs. Renee.)

I hope everyone has a very safe and Happy Halloween!

5 Lil' Pumkins

Today we made our 5 lil' pumkins. We had already placed some on a gate last week. We used our thumb prints to do that one. This time we used our knuckles! It was great! We had twelve children all excited and not in the least effected by the new moon last night...HA HA HA...

We used Lime Green paper and painted their knuckles orange. They placed them down anywhere on the paper and they made the cutest bumpy pumkins. We used their thumb to make a green stem and put green curling vines all around them.

They also tried to color a picture by following an example. (This didn't go over as well as I had planned) I had a pictured colored and then they were going to look at it and if I colored the hat purple...then they would color the hat purple.
It was all good in theory...
We did have a couple that actually did a very nice job.
Some just looked at their picture in agony.

We did not get in the treasure box today... the new moon had our attention today.
Not to mention that it IS HALLOWEEN week!!!
This too will pass next week after the sugar rush has worn off........

DON'T FORGET THE PARTY ON FRIDAY!!!!
IT STARTS AT 11:00
SEE YOU THEN!
