5 Lil' Pumkins

Today we made our 5 lil' pumkins. We had already placed some on a gate last week. We used our thumb prints to do that one. This time we used our knuckles! It was great! We had twelve children all excited and not in the least effected by the new moon last night...HA HA HA...

We used Lime Green paper and painted their knuckles orange. They placed them down anywhere on the paper and they made the cutest bumpy pumkins. We used their thumb to make a green stem and put green curling vines all around them.

They also tried to color a picture by following an example. (This didn't go over as well as I had planned) I had a pictured colored and then they were going to look at it and if I colored the hat purple...then they would color the hat purple.
It was all good in theory...
We did have a couple that actually did a very nice job.
Some just looked at their picture in agony.

We did not get in the treasure box today... the new moon had our attention today.
Not to mention that it IS HALLOWEEN week!!!
This too will pass next week after the sugar rush has worn off........

DON'T FORGET THE PARTY ON FRIDAY!!!!
IT STARTS AT 11:00
SEE YOU THEN!
